@arctix.dev0With High Seas kicking off, I thought starting a scrapbook would be cool! I've been brainstorming project ideas, and one that’s stuck with me is building something like ChatGPT—but for schools. The idea is to make a tool packed with features for teachers and students, helping schools adapt to AI and teach it in a way that keeps everyone up to speed. I haven't settled on a name yet, but I'm currently considering something like "Brainwave". I am planning to build Brainwave using React/Next.js, OpenAI API, Shadcn/ui, and Supabase! :supabase::vercel::openai::react:
Spent a few hours today recreating the ChatGPT UI as a starting point. The concept should become clearer as it develops, but I’m excited to see where it goes from here!
@louisa2today i was sponsormaxxing (this infact didnt go as great is i hoped it would bc i rlly didnt know what to say :nooo:). i also did some stuff for counterspell nairobi and i started learning how to make an emulator w this super cool tutorial.
@louisa2day one of code-free week was rlly productive:
1. i made a proposal for hq for an event. never really done anything like this
2. i got venue confirmation and met some likely sponsors. learning how to speak to sponsors has been super cool
3. i gor back into journaling :) pic of some stickers ill be using on my journal (cant do actual journal entry pic)
@louisa2DDE grind bc Dexter is such a cool moving arm, yall should try DDE sometime!
@msw0Update 2: I made more progress on my goal to learn how to make really cool figma art for #C07NUNPGEU8| ! I played with a lot today, from new ways of making gradients in figma (the light fluffy clouds), to forming more complex shapes than I've done on my own before (the whole island was by hand).
This piece is still steven universe inspired, but kinda themed more piratey w/ a skull on the island
@Averse0made a custom backrooms-esque generation system! uses simplex noise and the code is a mess, but it sure does look cool!! also I implemented a chunking system so that's why it cuts off after a bit. I can also very easily change the size of the chunks and the render distance, as well as a ton of other things, PLUS I added a debug/noclip mode to get this shot. AND because I stole this from one of my other projects, you can easily add structures/little add on things.
@vracto0I made a cool person/object detector with bin!@AdityaPV0Made a text generator with markov chains.
This was created to test my hypothesis on how to improve repeated text generations from LLMs.
I generated over 400 quotes each from my model and chatgpt 3.5 turbo. And created a website where people could rate the similarity of quotes.
If enough people had voted, i might have finished my research, but alas!!
some text generated by my model:
> The mother was the sidewalk. Everyone clapped and the end, they decided to see my special trick?” The rabbit lived near a memory of playing, they found a shooting star twinkling. She would style it to the fields. The frog decided to watch the rat showed off their usual activities. A cat was sad because it flew over a tree. It was the cool water and a goat were so excited that was the most important thing of its mother encouraged it. The bear lived near a river together. The boy had a cow loved to catch it. In a forest. One day, she looked through the rocks. They decided they saw a tall grass, while the sun set, they thanked the same barn. The frog how far it as a branch above the same house. The dog would pretend to hop on a frog. Every morning, it as flying. A horse loved it was a leaf. The crab met by the frog. Every morning, the way they both realized that having a melody. One day, the rat showed off their special acorn. In the animals to chat and the mud. One day, the sun. You don’t you teach me to

@tyzrichard0Over the last few months, I took part in a competition (Steamunity: Design for Humanity) and created a cool circuit to improve two-way communication between elderly residents and their visitors! It builds on the doorbell system to help alert elderlies that suffer from hearing disabilities. Check out the repo: github.com/DakshRocks21/Steamunity
Can't post this without acknowledging my fellow no-lifer @dak5h who has been a blast to work with throughout, huge credits to him for making this with me.
And below is a picture of the stuff in action. It's just circuits for now, but our team's gonna 3D model some cool stuff to make the entire setup look good.
@James-U079MBNSCTB0While I was on vacation, I brought my sketchbook along and drew pen and pencil sketches of whatever I found memorable or cool (e.g. monuments, scenery, movies)

@Gizzi0I made a cool Pinterest-like website for artists to use that also works along Spotify directly so you can post music with your art! github.com/GizziXZ/Synesthesic
@AbhayShukla0greatly improved the user interface of my portfolio website idea. For now this is a showcase of UI design but I plan to eventually add more functionality but OH MY GOD look at how clean everything is !!!
the animations and stuff they're so smooth and took so long to debug ahhhhh but yeah its a really really cool page.

@szym402pl0I've updated the CustomArrows plugin I'm developing. I've added a lot of cool new arrows (see the thread). Link to the resource is in the repo's readme: github.com/szym402pl/custom-arrows
@JubilantMarmot0PicoTemp Sensor
This is a pretty cool but simple project. RGB LED and a screen that shows you the temperature. Both when it is hot and cold!
Additionally, there is a joystick for menu selection, but that is not implemented yet. This is for [redacted for privacy] school for the Electronics Club demo next Thursday.
Try it here! wokwi.com/projects/407498035301430273github.com/JubilantMarmot/HC-bin2

@LuisAFK0I've made an API client for the Air France in-flight connectivity API!
I made it because I wanted to code something offline while on a flight, and when I connected to the plane WiFi and inspected their captive portal, I thought the API looked pretty cool and provided a lot of information. So I made this API client. You can use it to fetch information about your current flight, connecting flights, flight trajectory, internet coverage, services health, connectivity status, and more. Although obviously it only works while you're in an Air France flight and connected to their AirFranceCONNECT WiFi network.

@LucasBoucher0I improved my Oasis website!
Some days ago I made a website for my "brand" (or group) called Oasis, and I since added pretty nice stuff to make it even more cool!
You can see how it looks on creeperlulu.github.io/oasis
and see the source code on github.com/creeperlulu/oasis !
Here's a screenshot to show how amazing my website is:
@Marios0I just finished my first gameboy game in assembly, it was hard but really cool to create had to search up a lot of docs
@Kaspian0I updated my minecraft plugin FishyBusiness with some cool changes including:
• Automated github releases
• Hook for my other plugin POBox

Added cool assets to my rythm game starter to get a better unstartanding how the files should incorporate into the code
@szym402pl0I have updated Custom Arrows. I added a lot of cool stuff (I made a tornado arrow that makes an actual tornado believe it or not - vids in the thread) github.com/szym402pl/custom-arrows
@Kaspian0I just released my java library called Kommons.
Kommons allow you to easily manage configuration files written in yml with bonus features like serialization of java objects.
Additionally you can use kommons to create colors, manipulate them and make cool gradients with different algorithms.
You can easily add it to your java project as dependency using jitpack repo.

@Jignesh0I finally shipped my project 'Chatty'
Its a fullstack discord clone with real time messaging
Made with nextjs, shadcn, tailwind, socket.io, prisma, postgresql,
It has responsive ui, with light and dark themes,
Server creation, channel management.etc, tried to replicate major features of discord
If you'd like, join the existing server I created using this link chatty-silk.vercel.app/invite/fd6fb69b-884a-4f2d-ae93-40299ff241ec
Review this app and if you have any cool features in mind, just shoot me a dm...
GitHub :github.com/jignesh119/chatty
Live url: chatty-silk.vercel.app
Note:
-In the app voice and video calling requires a websocket connection between client and server all the time whereas vercel (where I deployed to) uses serverless architecture.
Hence those features won't work
-For realtime chat updates I've added constant polling as fallback for websockets(if no websocket connection) hence maintains realtime status
Hence,
To see app's full features set this up locally using instructions provided in readme.

@NikosTsilas-U04N415FE4T0Continue working on the website for a local football club. I did many new things with js (that I am very proud for achieving) and astro. Also I made a custom and very cool imo control panel for html audio/video Here are some pictures:
@magicfrog0i finally finished it! :ultrafastparrot:
i made a book from scratch containing all the amazing tales from #C06RQ9TTEG3|!
introducing ✨tales from the trail ✨, a hand-made book that i binded with leather and some old-looking paper. i wrote about the AWESOME experiences that we had out there in the woods and all the amazing cool friends i made! btw tail is by far the best group! and the best part i think was the fun little 3d paper gadget things (tent that you can open and there are two sleeping bags inside), tiny lake dioramas (blue hot glue basically), pop-ups (a very wonky looking bear and FIRE!!) and other trinket stuff (like a magnifying glass to inspect people's faces if thats something you like to do)!
hope you enjoy! :)
fun fact: the book spine has pink himalayan salt hot-glued on for some reason
the entire book: docs.google.com/document/d/16lMUuA6GF8RqRvB3axDwEq4kIcqhxX17YrtS4XYHUTI/edit?usp=sharing
repo (including video): github.com/themagicfrog/talesfromthetrail
btw... another google-doc style recount about EVERYTHING that happened (that i know of) on #C06RQ9TTEG3| is coming soon:eyes_shaking:. it's very extensive, and SEVENTY pages :heavysob: long . i just gotta organize it and shorten it...
