Python School management system project with a database of SQLite. It has three most important user roles: a student, teacher, and admin. The functionality will be different for different users. Students can sign up, log in, and check their personal information and grades. Teachers will add and manage the grades of students. Admins can add, edit, and delete students' records and manage user authentication and password changes. Security features include password hashing and access restriction to admins for a specified number of users. The project can be extended to implement GUI or convert it into a desktop application. github.com/datchkh/school_system

github.com/SkolaOffline/skolaoffline I (and my friends) wrote a new frontend for Czech information system that is supposed to make organizing school easier. But we were annoyed by how long it takes to just take a look where is the next lesson (10 seconds of loading time), so we decided to make our own app.

posting it one more time Hello everyone! I recently completed my Next JS application, which is called GradeMate. I made this app as a wrapper over my high school's gradebook application to create a better UI and add extra features like grade prediction and GPA calculation. I shared it with some people in my school, and they loved it! I plan to improve it as this school year goes on. I have added a demo account in the application so you all can take a look and experience the application. The credentials for the same can be found on the app's login page. Read the readme on the repo for details on running the application locally and credits. repo: github.com/tanushchauhan/grade-app Link: grademate.tanushchauhan.com

My friend and I just finished what I would call the first usable version of my app, StudyBits. TLDR; it’s a Studying Tool, and you should download the app by using the link below! I wanted to create this because of my freshman year of high school; AP HuG had taught me the error in my studying habits, so I decided to try and design a solution. Unfortunately, once sophomore year started, I didn’t have time to finish the app, which I was developing in Ionic at the time. Luckily, #C073DTGENJ2| reminded me of this idea, it also convinced me to switch to React Native, which was much better than Ionic for my purposes. Now the app: StudyBits helps you avoid cramming for your exams by allowing you to study on your phone. You can simply subscribe to a course, which will add a set of questions to your question pool. Then, you can answer questions from your question pool by going to the “Answer” tab in the app which will randomly select a question for you to answer. In the future, we plan to implement an algorithm which selectively chooses questions which will maximize your learning in combination with spacial repetition. You might be wondering who creates the questions, well you do! To create questions, you simply create a channel and a course with whatever units you would like. Then, you create questions in the create tab to your heart’s content. WE NEED YOU TO CREATE USEFUL COURSES! Right now, all we have is a filler brainrot course, so we encourage you to make usable courses (or courses on how to mew). In the future, we plan to use artificial intelligence to inflate our question sets. Finally, you can use our app to motivate you by competing for a spot on the leaderboard. By answering questions correctly, you gain points which rank you higher on our leaderboard, we plan to make this algorithm more complex in the future. Try to beat “The Sigma Rizzler” who is at 10,000,003 points 😉. Testflight Link: testflight.apple.com/join/t0SncOyx Demo video attached below! I know right now the UX is a little inconsistent, and has room for improvement. This app is still a work in progress :loading:

PCB card: (WIP and probably won't finish by the end of arcade since school is starting). I am currently learning PCB design (for OnBoard). First, I followed the tutorial and learnt some basic stuff like how to use the CAD editor and search components, etc. Then I just decided to straight-up build a whole computer in the chip, which is actually a secret radio / tranceiver thingy. This might be extremely difficult, but so far I have found the modules needed to build this thing. I am just worried about the final thing not working so I am making this a checkpoint. Demos attactched. GitHub link: github.com/LinuxDinoGitHub/DinoCard

Hello Everyone! I have great news to share! The app has sparked interest at my high school. Using my cider grant I was able to publish it on testflight to have other students find bugs in it and they have sadly (also good because I don't want bugs in production). I have solved all the bugs and I am yet to talk to my district about implementing this wish me luck!

I am actually rewriting the entire codebase for dotenv-tools CLI in TypeScript on Deno and even moved into its own repository under Recap Time Squad after a month of hiatus (well school and other things in a nutshell for those who asked). I bet I'll be working on this after Arcade to make sure it's at least I do config parsing and other stuff. Sneak around mau.dev/recaptime-dev/dotenv-tools (also mirroring on GitHub at github.com/recaptime-dev/dotenv-tools) for install docs and feel free to send patches. 🙂

My earlier scrapbook post was an extension I made to add my schedule (or any) dynamically generated from my school's student information system, powerschool, onto my new tab page. I've added a few features since, such as merging classes that extend beyond one period (or duplicate frees) adding some preliminary settings (such as changing the links that are shown) and have also released it for students at my school via the chrome web store. github.com/mud-ali/NewTab In addition, I've added a basic landing page to facilitate downloads for firefox, since the Mozilla Addons Store doesn't accept extensions that only pertain to a limited niche of people. mud-ali.github.io/NewTab

📚 With school starting back up for most, that means one thing! Club Rush is right around the corner! I created github.com/Luke-Oldenburg/club-rush-24 for my Hack Club's demo at Club Rush to get more kids interested! You just need to text a hex color to the phone number on the screen and it will change the background using an :shortcuts:Apple Shortcut:shortcuts: for messaging and an express backend. This project was heavily inspired by github.com/tmb/club-fair-attention-monopoly.
