Dog Posts – Hack Club Scrapbook

Made a text generator with markov chains. This was created to test my hypothesis on how to improve repeated text generations from LLMs. I generated over 400 quotes each from my model and chatgpt 3.5 turbo. And created a website where people could rate the similarity of quotes. If enough people had voted, i might have finished my research, but alas!! some text generated by my model: > The mother was the sidewalk. The Barking Dog is a Raspberry Pi that barks at rabbits. It takes a picture when motion is detected by the PIR sensor, and then identifies any rabbits using PyTorch. If it finds rabbits, it plays an audio file of a dog barking. GitHub Repo README

Dog Walking Timer My father often asks me when Finn, our dog, was last walked. To make it easier for him, I created a dog walking timer! With a simple button press, it displays the current time, providing an exact record of when Finn was last out. I added two lines for different types of walks: the first line indicates a long walk (e.g., 2 hours in the forest), and the second line indicates a short walk (e.g., 20 minutes for a bathroom break). This session I finished working on my dog's website. I added one point in HTML, added an icon from google and finished the animations. I also removed unnecessary code. As the arcade rules suggest to be posting every 8 hours I'm attaching another version of my to be dog show management app. Now it supports signing up (you must, however, be mindful of what password you set - it doesn't yet show tips) logging in, and logging out. For some of the sessions I didn't provide a commit as I didn't realise that I could make a new branch to work on while the other one is waiting for review, but I have provided extensive scraps in these session github.com/A-Potion/sniffshow
