@hex41my :minecraft: minecraft modpack is out! For a while I've been trying to create my perfect version of Minecraft - and I think Super is pretty close to that. it's based on Fabulously Optimized, but adds a ton more mods for immersion + quality of life. it's also client side!

@Ranger0After a long week, I returned to my usual coding habit (I was busy with college admission and preparation to move into hostel). Today I redesigned my projects page to be more pleasing to read (I was being dumb by not using the built-in functionality of papermod theme).
In short, I separated each projects into its own pages and linked all of them under a 'projects' page. Although the contents of each page is not complete, I think its good enough for a day's work :)

@JakubPrit0Made Python script that uses PyAutoGUI and OpenCV to recognize the state of a minesweeper(.online) game. State recognition works (but not as reliably as I would like it to), actually solving the game is not done yet, this was mainly for me for learning computer vision (took basically all of the time). Also minesweeper.online was under maintainance for some time while I was making this, testing was hard due to that, and I think they broke some parts of my code by some small visual changes... github.com/JakubPrit/minesweeper-cheat
@maxh0I tried learning watercolor! it was really tough and I am not super happy with what I made but I think that is to be expected when learning a new skill. you can check out what I made on github.

Its not perfect, but im working on the idea.

@PratyushVelShankar0Hey Everyone!, Here with my first CAD project, that I took actually seriously. I decided since I just wanted to learn, why not design something useful, which is what lead me to make a Stationary Organizer.
Before I show you the project though, I want to talk a bit about the design process, as I found it particularly interesting. During the making of this 3d model, I faced a lot of issues, mainly due to lack of knowledge, but what truly helped me solve this problem was the community. I felt this to be an encouraging factor, as it really proved to me that no matter what you face, there will be a community to back you up(which is also what HackClub is doing for me)

@Ultra0Finished the third topic in the new SWE 2025 NSW syllabus website using Docusaurus. I have not yet hosted the website, I am thinking of purchasing a domain in order to do so, but I may look at using Github pages to host it. Anyway, I am happy with my progress so far.

i made a book from scratch containing all the amazing tales from #C06RQ9TTEG3|!
introducing ✨tales from the trail ✨, a hand-made book that i binded with leather and some old-looking paper. i wrote about the AWESOME experiences that we had out there in the woods and all the amazing cool friends i made! btw tail is by far the best group! and the best part i think was the fun little 3d paper gadget things (tent that you can open and there are two sleeping bags inside), tiny lake dioramas (blue hot glue basically), pop-ups (a very wonky looking bear and FIRE!!) and other trinket stuff (like a magnifying glass to inspect people's faces if thats something you like to do)!

Currently has a time/weather widget and a local music player (I use the music player daily now and I think it's pretty good!).
Installation is super easy, since the backend runs in Python (none of those annoying javascripts!)

@randomletters0this project isn't very user-accessible because it's about data collection, but I'm making the data public (and sharing it with open-source devs at Bellingcat!!)
took a while, but I managed to (the term my friend used was "german data laundering"... he wasn't far off) get electrical network frequency in europe data from some sketchy (very sketchy) server used by mainsfrequency.com with a lil CTF-type thinking. it gets data every second, writes it to a csv of data for the day, and creates a Parquet file at the end of every month... every now and then I have to interpolate some values but it's almost 100% accurate... once there's enough data, it'll be the only (as of right now, there is none at all 😔) complete ENF data of the european grid in the last year (and going forward it'll be the only data of the european grid of 2024/25 (and hopefully more!!))
this data would literally be impossible for me to collect or publish without #nest, tysm to everyone running nest!!
the repo is github.com/borisnezlobin/enf, and I'm gonna figure out a better way of publishing the data than through git commits... but for now the data (most days are incomplete as I worked on them, the 18th/19th are the most complete) is in the repo
next steps for this are to actually use this data to train a model, make a filter/extractor, and actually do ENF analysis!! none of which I have any clue how to make lol
note to reviewers: this isn't a job/commission, it's purely open source data
