@Layan0Took 37 hours but my advent of code style problems and website is finally complete! I've been releasing them over the past days of Advent, and just finished coding up the final few puzzles.
@Layan0Day 5 of Advent of Code! Both parts in Python, working on it in Excel now..
@Daalbu0Today I had a small mistake in advent of code and got stuck. My code is always for some reason spaghetti. Continued working on my test app and added some teams separation. Thinking of a rewrite in react/deno but also I'm quite commited at this point to django github.com/DaalbuCZ/Hermes
@Ash8820Continued working on the hack assembler written in C (which I wish finished it today tbh), now can handle predefined symbols and labels.
Every part except the empty lines have been compiled as expected.
I just need to finish adding support for labels and variables and that should be everything...
I told myself something similar 2 days ago when I didn't knew that I would need to implement variables...
Essentially I hope I'm done by tomorrow, really hope I can participate into the advent of code this year...
@Layan0Did a bit more on my advent of code-inspired series today with 16 down and an idea for 17! Also messed around with researching pseudo randomness
@Layan0Done some more Advent of Code geocaching problems, 14 and 15 done today! Dijkstra's algorithm in a grid with number values, and then a bit of Pythagoras for some point-to-point distances.
@Layan0Been working on some problems for my Geocaching advent of code themed puzzles, did 12 and 13 today plus the generation for 14!
@Marios0[AOC SOLUTION SPOILER]
Woohoo 🎉! I am back on track and completed Day 2 as well (with rust again), they are kind of fun I suppose!
@Marios0[SOLUTION SPOILER]
Starting AoC 2023 (Advent of Code) today! I missed day 1 so I will complete it today.
I decided to do a twist and try to use rust as much as possible so I can practice my rust skills.

@Kieran0first day of sheepit render farm advent event!
@ZeroQL0#w-of-the-day day 60
after 3 absolutely grueling, it is with great pleasure to announce that HELL YEAH I'M DONE WITH EXAMS. I now have a week break before senior years starts.
I wanna take part in this years reply challenge so I've begun solving old advent of code challenges to brush up my coding, and also a bit of minecraft.
@ZeroQL0#w-of-the-day day 24
took a nap (amazing experience 10/10) and did some 2021 advent of code exercises. my #hardware-party items were supposed to come today but didn't arrive unfortunately :/
@aaryan0Day 9 of #10-days-in-public made progress on JavaScript Data structures and algorithms, will finish day 7 and 8 of Advent of code by today 😤 !
Also finished our major project today, presentation tomorrow :D
@robert0Day 10 🎉 #10-days-in-public! Finished AoC day 8, worked on venue details for Hack OC, and continued reading the deep learning book!
@kyle0Only 5ish days behind on the tryhackme advent calendar. Oops.
@aaryan0Day 8/10 of #10-days-in-public! Completed day 6 of AoC, it was much easier than I thought it'd be. Did a lot of work on my "copyright infringement detector" project, sketched a data model for storing perceptual hashes of our videos, hosted a redis instance on digital ocean and pushed all our data on it. Wrote a lot of python, and ffmpeg scripts for the project, kinda getting the hang of python now.
@robert0Day 9 #10-days-in-public! I finished AoC day 7, worked on PID control for my FRC robot, and finished the Hack OC prizes rough draft!
@aaryan0Day 7/10 of #10-days-in-public! Worked on AoC day 5. Parsing took a good amount of time, but the algorithm was pretty straightforward, had a lot of fun :)
Also refreshed my regex knowledge today, and solved some regex puzzles today!
@robert0Day 8 #10-days-in-public! I got Next and Tailwind running for my site and tinkered around a little, finished AoC day 8, and got started on the deep learning book!
@aaryan0Day 6/10 of #10-days-in-public: Solved day 4 of AoC and worked on another JavaScript DSA problem today!
@robert0Day 7 #10-days-in-public! Completed the day's AoC challenge, updated my gh profile readme, and worked on a command line encounter manager for d&d 5e!
@kaidevrim0day 7? or 6? of #10-days-in-public!!! Did AoC and setup ebook reader thingy.
@toby0hey everyone! here's my update for day 7 of #10-days-in-public! today i worked on turning my update from day 6 into a live website! i also completed day 4 of advent of code! :aoc:

Excited ✨ (also my end sem exams starting from 12th December, hope that doesn't mess up my consistency :D )
@aaryan0Day 4 of #10-days-in-public, finished today's AoC challenge, chapter 2 of Designing data intensive applications book and solved another js algorithm question from fcc's intermediate js algorithm scripting course!
@ian0Day 5 of #10-days-in-public. The only picture I have today, from aoc, but I met with Robert to coordinate on prizes, budget, and finishing securing the venue
@robert0Day 5 of #10-days-in-public! I didn’t do much today, but I was able to complete AoC day 3 and work on setting up some servers for HackOC
@sporeball0#10-days-in-public 5/10
no pretty picture, unless you count this cursor theme we just switched to (image credit: wo2ni) - though it was indeed a very pretty day!
we solved the first part of today's Advent of Code puzzle, but not the second, with a really big method chain.
beyond that, there were some minor changes to Clover. we'll be working on making it make more sense next, and hopefully we'll have a couple of really nice-looking commands by the end of the 10 days! -R
@toby0hey everyone!! here's my update for day 5 of #10-days-in-public! today, i worked a bit more on grooovy's api, and completed day two of advent of code! i also played around with chatGPT a bit more :D
