My fork has some bug fixes, better error messages and additional features. This fork is part of my NixOS desktop setup project. Added support for nixified.ai in my NixOS config, but was promptly greeted with a warning that my GPU was too old 😞 github.com/techyporcupine/nixos-config

Did a couple things with NVIDIA in my NixOS config. github.com/techyporcupine/nixos-config Built my Blender installation with CUDA support so I can render with my GPU now. Also rolled back my Nvidia Driver to version 535 as 550 was causing kernel panics. Hopefully looking at this config can help some people who might be struggling with doing either of those things!

As the first thing I do for #arcade , I switched my NixOS config from using Powerlevel10k as my Zsh theme to Starship, and I'm liking it a lot. Here is a screenshot of my terminal now!

day 12 i thin of #15-days-in-public! so i worked on my website home.patcybermind.tech ! and i finally got the domain working and the port working so now you dont have to type home.patcybermind.tech:5040! i just had to change some lines in the Caddy file and it worked. After that i transfered the styling i had done in html to css so that things are easier to change for exemple, the color of the main text is now a variable however the website is currently running on the flask dev server which isnt very sustainable. I used to use gunicorn but when setting up my domain i realised that my username had an upercase character and for reasons i dont understand it had to be lowercase so the nest admins kindly changed my name from Patcybermind to patcybermind which as you could have guessed broke quite a bit of things with my user install. For the most part it wasnt that bad like i could easily make a new python venv etc and some stuff you could easily change by changing the file names but nix, wellp thats more complicated. not only did gunicorn break but i also cant uninstall it to reinstall it or to simply use the debian install so ill have to see what ill do when i get there. Aside from that today i also worked on the sprig website which is something i had been wanting to do for a long time but i didnt know how to start thankfully cosmin and some of the other sprig devs helped me out which im very grateful for because i had no clue how to start and then i set the dev server wrong.

Yay I installed NixOS on an Orange Pi Zero with an Allwinner H2+ (armv7l). Embedding the bootloader in the SD Card image was kinda complicated, but cross compilation simplified things. Here's my flake: gist.github.com/karmanyaahm/5dc741b52dfbf6cbcb32da2fc90a31e3

Day 1 of Winter Hardware Wonderland :winter-hardware-wonderland: : 1. Collected even more USB Setup phase fingerprints with my old Digispark-based device. Now I just need two types of teachers' HP Laptops and M1 Macs. 2. Building Circuitpython is haaaaaaard. The crazy dependency management is the primary reason I hate embedded things. I got a NixOS VM for development set up on my Mac tonight (kind of... still need to make it seamless!)

Here's a picture I took recently and a screenshot of my Scrapbook Streak! :fireball: I recently passed 300 days! :tw_tada: :quad_parrot: Also there's more updates to my NixOS VM! :nix: I wrote a guide with the steps I'm going to take to make it so I think everyone will work out better that the other times! I'm using an ARM ISO this time so the compatibility should be better.
