almost a whole year ago i shared my first iteration of my motion controlled lights. however, there was one big caveat; the sensor simply acted on motion, which meant if 1 person walks in the room, the lights turn on. but if another person walks in, they turn off because the sensor doesn't know what direction the movement was in. I upgraded my PIR motion sensor to a gesture sensor, which means it can now track how many people are in the room and turn the lights on or off accordingly.
i dont have a demo with multiple movements, but here it is in action with one 'person"just realized I haven't posted a scrapbook entry in 2 months so I thought I'd post an update from the flight tracker I shared in april-
since then I've added dynamic background colors, boarding passes, and bag tracking
I finally don't need to install 50 different airline apps
finalized card design (...at least for now)

cleaned up the assembly of the device in the car
(day 2 of #hardware-party)
the model comes out with around a 50-50 accuracy so its a nice start but im going to start training with data from local runs instead of online dbs
