Day 5/10 of #hardware-party
Today I worked on applying the finger haptics for the vr glove. I decided to place the haptic motors above each finger in order to increase comfort. All the haptic motors work (thank God).
Placing tiny motors inside a glove is surprisingly difficult.
Also placed a magnet inside the glove so that the hall effect sensors can track the fingers
today i worked on testing and writing code for hall effect sensors
also decided not to use 3D printed finger caps to hold haptics
tomorrow i will start mounting haptics to the glove.
also soldered pins to nRF52840 sense
Day 3 of #hardware-party
I have been buisy today, so i couldnt do much, however worked on testing and writing code for the nRF52840 Sense
Tomorrow i will start 3D printing parts and testing the hall effect sensors
will probably also start writing sensor fusion code to calculate the orientation of the glove
day 2 of #hardware-party
Finger caps for the glove will be printed
I will also start testing the nRF Sense, prepping and preparing the hardware.
