The Talking Textbook is an educational tool that uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with MongoDB Vector Store and OpenAI to answer questions based on a provided textbook. So far, I’ve built out the MVP, which allows users to upload textbooks and chat with them. In the next milestone, I’ll be working on polishing it up with markdown support, tool calling (create a quiz!), and improving the prompts. github.com/anishanne/arcade/tree/main/talkingtextbook

I created a Vercel AI SDK Provider that supports monitoring Azure OpenAI models by proxying them through Helicone. The library is super simple to use (4 lines of code!) and integrates within the @NotNeel-U02EZAL546M/ai ecosystem. I just finished the first prototype (v0.0.1) —with a few things to do (improve documentation & write examples)—but the provider as a whole is ready for action! github.com/anishanne/helicone-azure-provider
